Mazak’s affordable and versatile Vertical Center Nexus 510C-II HS 5X is an ideal solution for high speed machining applications. Equipped with a 40 taper, 50hp, 18,000rpm integral spindle/motor, the VCN 510C-II HS 5X offers a large machining area, with X-axis travel of 41" (1,050mm), and full Y- and Z-axis ranges of 20" (510mm).
Users benefit from full 5-axis contouring due to the inclusion of a tilting rotary table that provides 360º rotation and +/- 120º tilt. The table delivers exceptionally high positioning accuracy (+/-10 arc-sec) and repeatability (8 arc-sec) through its zero-backlash Roller-Drive mechanism and 0.0001-degree resolution.
The VCN 510C-II HS 5-axis has a maximum workpiece weight of 440 lb (200kg) and a maximum part swing of 21" (533.4mm).
