As part of the ValGroove Grooving & Parting tool system, VSG-FG inserts feature general-purpose geometries for all types of grooving and parting operations. Their corner radii and cutting geometries reduce cutting forces and minimize vibration, making them well-suited for parting tube materials. They also control chips under moderate feedrates and are good for stainless steels, low-carbon steels, and other difficult chip-handling materials. There are currently 34 insert variations available.
