Iwaki, Japan – Tungaloy Corp. is expanding EasyMultiCut, the multi-functional tool series for grooving with the ETFR-CHP toolholder for face grooving with a coolant hole for high pressure internal coolant supply.
EasyMultiCut features a self-clamping insert that provides high tool rigidity. The toolholder has no top clamping parts to hold down the insert, so smooth chip evacuation is possible in deeper grooving applications. EasyMultiCut offers productivity in face grooving operations where chip evacuation is usually difficult.
The toolholder has a coolant hole so ample coolant is constantly supplied to the cutting edge for stable and long tool life.
Main features:
- Applicable for face grooving with groove width 0.157" (4mm); and 1.181” to 19.685” (30mm to 500mm) diameter
- Maximum groove depth: 0.984" (25mm)
- Excellent chip evacuation allows high speed machining
