The ExactaMill XE13 Series is engineered for aluminum alloys and features advanced DLC coating technology to deliver extended tool life, while the ExactaMill XE22 Series is optimized for titanium and nickel alloys with high-performance PVD coatings that enhance durability and cutting efficiency.
The cutters for aluminum alloys feature two and three-flute designs with optimized flute profiles for superior chip evacuation, polished flutes to prevent built-up edge (BUE), and optimized geometries for high-speed cutting with minimal vibration. For titanium and nickel alloys, the range includes robust core designs for added strength, heat-resistant coatings to extend tool life, and fine-pitch geometries to enhance stability when machining tough materials. Roughing endmills feature a PVD AlCrN based coating with post-coat treatments that improves abrasion resistance and significantly improves tool life performance in coolant applied applications.
