TCI delivers repeat runs of consistently high-quality machined parts to exact customer specifications. A single P.O. to TCI for material, machining, heat-treating, plating, and other specialized requirements reduces vendors and processing time.
Smaller lots of parts with faster and more frequent deliveries, without batch and queue, because of TCI’s lean production machining cells. They streamline processes and cut waste, which also shortens lead times. For example, instead of tying up cash and space with a single lot of 100 parts, order four lots of 25 parts with Just-In-Time delivery.
Shorten lead times and reduce inventory with custom-configured work cells, consisting of HMCs, VMCs and CNC Turning Centers. Cellular manufacturing allows material to be moved from process to process, eliminating delays during the hand-off between operations and departments. TCI is agile and flexible enough to create multi-discipline work cells that accommodate regularly repeating contract machining.
Larger and smaller parts machined on HMCs, VMCs, and CNC Turning Centers. With a work envelope as large as large as 30" in Z, 77" in Y, and 166" in X, Viper VMC bridge/gantry mills and large multi-pallet Mazak HMCs make quick work of large part requirements. Large turned parts, up to a 36-inch swing and as long as 80", are made on Mori Seiki and Haas CNC turning centers.
TCI also machines customer-furnished stock, such as castings, forgings, plate, sheet, and bar stock. TCI is an aluminum warehouse distributor for Alcoa, Kaiser, and Hulamin. Whether customers or TCI furnish stock, customers can concentrate resources on core competencies while TCI handles the entire part – turnkey.
AS9100 / ISO 9001 certification, means TCI’s quality management, processes, and product quality systems ensure that customers in all industries receive the same consistent quality from the first part to the last.
