Surface Deburring Brushes

 

The Blue Brush is the most aggressive brush in the lineup and can tackle more aggressive burrs in today’s toughest materials; it is a proven problem solver in Titanium castings for the aerospace and defense industries due to a result of thicker and stiffer Alumina fiber bristles, making it three times more aggressive than the current White brush.  The unique Ceramic fiber bristles of provide a continuous cutting edge and consistent grinding performance which is self-sharpening and has no fillers or binders.  Each bristle contains 1000 alumina fiber filaments providing end to end abrasive material in each bristle.

 

The current surface brush lineup consists of four colors.  Pink is the softest and most flexible and is well-suited for intricate parts and softer materials. Red is stiffer and more aggressive, making it wel-suited for materials less than 45Rc.  White is more rigid than red and can handle larger burrs. Blue can handle burrs up to 1mm in tough materials.  The pink brush is available in 15mm while the other three colors are available in 6mm, 15mm, 25mm, 40mm, 60mm, and 100mm.  A floating holder, which maintains even pressure, reduces time needed to adjust bristle length, and improves brush life and surface finish, is available for brushes up to 40mm. In addition to deburring, the brushes have the ability to achieve surface finishes as well as 10ra in some materials, and are also used as crosshole deburring tools for bores ranging from 0.826” through 4.421”.
