This proven service includes replacing all blades, grinding fresh bevel geometry, refurbishing the body of the reamer, and optional coating of the blades if required. With turnaround of 4-to-6 weeks – a fraction of new tool lead times – customers typically achieve cost savings of 40% (compared to new tooling). Suitable for solid and expandable monoblock reamers, expandable cutting rings, and replaceable head reamers. Diatool further enhances performance with advanced coatings options and blade materials including cermet, coated carbide, or PCD to reduce cycle times and maximize tool life.
