Seven diameters make up Steinmeyer's line of miniature ballscrews from 3 to 16 mm. Other standard diameters are 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. All have ground ball nuts and come with or without preload.
With internal ball-deflector return systems instead of external tubes, the nuts offer smooth, quiet operation in compact sizes. Custom screw lengths are available with journals machined to control drawings. Applications for the miniature screws include medical devices, microscope stages, inspection equipment, robotics, and more.
