A new angle-measuring eyepiece for microscopes, the AME-5M 10X is available from Titan Tool Supply Inc.
The new protractor eyepiece measures 360° to an accuracy of 5 minutes using a rotary vernier rotatable crosshair. The white scale on a black background is easy to read and enlarged by a 10X magnifier.
The AME-5M 10X is designed for checking cutting tool geometry and angular measurements in dies and molds, research and development, and other quality control applications.
The company states the new model eyepiece will fit all 23 mm optic tubes, including 8 different Titan Tool Supply model microscopes. It can also be supplied with optional bushings to fit 30 mm or larger optic tubes.
