As a benchtop optical measuring projector,
the HE400 MkIII produces
bright, sharp images on a fully usable
16-in. screen featuring an integral hood,
precision crosslines, and calibration
markings. Fan-cooled halogen profile
illumination with high/low intensity lets
users adjust screen lighting. Magnifications
of 10, 20, 25, 31.25, 50, and 100x
are available, as is a choice of several
Quadra-Chek DRO systems.
The systems measuring travel is 10 x
4 in., and its high-precision workstage,
with an 18.9 x 4.7-in.
top plate, accommodates
up to 55 lb with
negligible deflection.
Other features include
fully retractable duplex
fiberoptic surface illumination,
fine adjustment on all axes,
a digital protractor for angular measurements,
Heidenhain 0.00005-in. resolution
scales, and a lamphouse-mounted helix adjustment
for accurate thread-form inspection.
