As a high-speed 5-axis system, the UCP 600 Vario tackles a variety of machining configurations, including automated production applications. Its modular, scaleabletoolchanger holds 100 to 220 tools, and there is an integrated pallet-changing system.
The seven-position pallet system automatically exchanges workpieces with surface areas measuring 13313 in. and 14-in. high with weights up to 176 lb. Three machine spindle options are available (12,000, 20,000, and 42,000 rpm), as are rotary/tilt tables that swivel between minus 115° and plus 30°.
