Fairlane Products, a North American manufacturer and supplier of clamps, fixturing accessories, machine tool components and rollers & bumpers, introduces a full line of finned rollers that are grooved and provide self-cleaning as dirt, debris, and liquid can pass under the contact surface.

Finned rollers have grooves on the surface and can be permanently bonded to a steel insert, a bronze bushing, bearing mount, or stud mount. Regardless of the insert chosen, they provide rigidity and allow users to customize the mounting configuration. They’re available in 20 to 95 durometer and are available in diameters from 1.50" to 4.00" with widths from 1.00" to 2.00".

The finned-style rollers provide firm yet non-damaging pressure, yet with durable physical properties for a wide array of fixturing, assembly, and material handling operations. They are all designed to protect parts ranging from those that are delicate or fragile to those that are heavy or unusually shaped. Rubber rollers are often used in material handling, assembly, and manufacturing operations.

Having durometer measurements from 20 to 95, finned rollers are ideal for use on conveyors, belt idlers, racks, shock cushioners, stamping die part-guides and supports, carts and wagons, or other applications where fragile items require cushioned, non-marring, and secure handling.

Rugged, wear resistant, and smooth, Fairlane Products rollers are injected molded and available in a variety of sizes, durometers, mounting options, and materials. They can also be designed into machines and assembly operations. They can be used nearly anywhere that protection for parts movement is needed.
