VARDEX’s high performance MiTM line of solutions for super fast machining has now been extended to include MiTM 19, for small bore cutting diameters from M11x0.5 (7/16-32UN). The new MiTM 19 line features an impressive array of single-flute tools suited to machining standard and conical applications and producing pitches in the 0.50-2.0mm (32-12 tpi) range.
Designed to provide increased tool stability over TM Standard tools, MiTM 19 tools also feature long inserts (19mm), which enables the machining of longer threads in a single pass and offers significantly improved productivity. MiTM 19 VBX and VTX coated inserts are available in the following thread profiles: ISO, UN, Whitworth, NPT, NPTF, and BSPT.
The MiTM 19 toolholder range includes standard and conical styles with a toolholder shank diameter of 12mm (.50”) and a maximum tool overhang of 25.2 (1”). As with the entire MiTM range, all MiTM 19 toolholders are nickel coated for improved rust protection and a longer tool life and include through-tool coolant for improved chip evacuation and cooling at the cutting corner.
