West Boylston, Massachusetts – Cut & Form solid carbide finishing end mills from Emuge feature a patented tool geometry that cuts and polishes in one operation, saving manufacturing time and costs.
The design incorporates three cutting edges to remove material and three burnishing edges to compact the material, producing polished mirror surfaces as fine as 0.08µm Ra. These high-performance tools are designed for trimming 2-D contours in non-ferrous materials such as aluminum and copper.
Cut & Form end mills are available in stub-length and standard-length designs, with cutting diameters of 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12 mm.
