Easy Bend tooling creates bend lines in metal for easy hand bending. Ideal for fabricated assemblies where conventional press-brake forming techniques aren't practical, the tooling efficiently generates fabricated bend lines with CNC punch-press precision.
The tooling features upper tools with linear V-line stencils engraved onto their faces. Lower tools are blank dies. As upper tools penetrate sheet metal, crisp bend lines form. Line penetrations are dependent on workpiece ductility and thickness. Up to 12-in. bend lines are possible in thicknesses of 0.078 in. for mild steel and 0.059 in stainless steel.
