CONQUEST H51 SUPER-PRECISION


Hardinge Inc., a leading international provider of advanced metal-cutting solutions, announces the release of their newest turning center, the CONQUEST H51 SUPER-PRECISION.

The CONQUEST H51 represents the latest in technology, precision and, most importantly, capability. Featuring the Hardinge quick change Collet-Ready Spindle, Hardinge is pleased to debut this “ultimate bar machine” at IMTS. The machine is available in both high precision and SUPER-PRECISION models. The Hardinge CONQUEST H51 SP machine sets the standard for SUPER-PRECISION turning with outstanding performances specifications such as:
 
• Part Roundness – Main Spindle .000020" (.5μm)
• Continuous Machining Accuracy deviation on diameter within .0002” (5μm)
• Part Finish – Main Spindle .000008" (.2μm)
 
The CONQUEST H51 features a 20hp, 5000rpm A2-6” main spindle with 2” bar capacity. It offers a generous maximum turning diameter of 12.3” and a maximum turning length of 25.6”. The 12 station turret offers ½ station index for up to 24 tools. The machine offers a wide variety of standard features such as through-tool coolant, bar feed and chip conveyor interfaces, three position stack light, PSMCIA memory card, rigid tapping and many others including state-of-the-art machine crash protection. The machine is offered in a number of configurations depending on which option is selected, these include:

The machine is designed with accuracy in mind in all component areas. For instance, the hydraulic module is located at the rear of the machine in the detachable utilities system platform in order to mitigate any heat related issues. All SP machines feature linear scales in the X-axis and scales are available on the Y and Z axis as well. All SP and HP machines have a programmable resolution of 10 millionths/.00001” (.1μm).
The CONQUEST H51 is offered with either a Fanuc 0i-D or Mitsubishi 720 control, each packed with a host of standard features.
