The 4I90 is a quad type Mini-PCIE adapter for the PC/104-Express bus. The 4I90 allows use of 4 Mini-PCIE cards like IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN cards in a PC/104-Express system. The 4I90 uses a PCIE bus bridge so that only a single one lane PC/104-Express‘slot’ is required. The 4I90 has a cabled PCIE expansion connector for downstream cabled PCIE devices.
An assembly option allows the 4I90 to be used downstream cabled quad mini PCIE expansion device .
Status LEDs are provided for the Mini-PCI slots, plus a connector is available for external LEDs. A local regulator supplies 3.3V and 1.5V power to the Mini-PCIE slots.
