Wyle to Provide Systems Assurance, Engineering for USAF

Awarded $15 Million to Aid Air Force Life Cycle Management Center

Wyle, based in El Segundo, Calif., has been awarded a $15 million task order to provide specialized system assurance and engineering product analyses for the U.S. Air Force's Life Cycle Management Center through its Engineering Directorate at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
 
Under this task order, Wyle will provide engineering, airworthiness, system security and assurance, risk management and safety analyses in developing, implementing and executing product logistics, sustainment, and acquisition strategies across the portfolio of aeronautical weapon systems for the Air Force. 
 
Through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Engineering Directorate, Wyle will perform and document analyses and strategies, logistics management, program management, life cycle and cost analysis products to refine and improve initiatives across the center.
 
The task order was issued under the Defense Technical Information Center's Reliability Information Analysis Center contract, an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity vehicle designed to assist the research, development, acquisition, test, and evaluation community.
 
Wyle's subcontractors on the task include MTSI, headquartered in Alexandria, Va.
