WTO USA, a global provider of high-precision tool holders for turning centers, held the grand opening of its new North American Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, and celebrated its 30-year anniversary.
Invited guests, customers, and partners gathered to inaugurate the new building, designed by the renowned architectural firm Grossmann Group. The new headquarters symbolizes 30 successful years for WTO in the North American market. It was founded in 1995 by Sascha Tschiggfrei, second-generation owner of WTO. His mission continues to supply German precision tools combined with first-class, customer-oriented service.
The new 22,000ft2 state-of-the-art facility features modern offices, a fully equipped factory operated service center, extensive warehouse space, and a modern showroom for providing product training. Solar panels on the entire roof generate around 250,000kWh of electricity annually, allowing WTO Inc. to generate a large part of its electricity consumption.
Key benefits for U.S. customers include:
- Local sales and technical support across all U.S. regions through their own Product Specialists
- Large product and parts inventory for fast and reliable delivery
- Factory operated service center with four factory-trained technicians performing rebuilds and maintenance of driven tool holders, regardless of brand
- User product application training on site
“Our new headquarters reflects our continued growth and dedication to serving customers in North America with fast response times, quality, and professional after-sales support our customers expect from a global market leader,” explained Sascha Tschiggfrei, CEO and president of WTO.
WTO will present premieres and innovations in Hall 5, Booth A26 at EMO Hannover, September 22 -26, 2025.
