Chino, California – Wetmore Tool and Engineering has appointed Andrew Pramschufer as chief executive officer. Pramschufer brings more than 20 years of relevant experience to the role, having previously served as the vice president/general manager for BBA Aviation’s North American aerospace manufacturing businesses.
His successful history of driving top line growth using innovative sales and market penetration strategies coupled with the lean transformation of factories to best-in-class performance, are well suited to support Wetmore’s ambitious growth plans. Phil Kurtz will move to vice chairman of the company and will remain on the board of directors working with Pramschufer, Mike Gallegos, and the Corridor Capital team. He will continue to support Wetmore by focusing on business development with major existing and new accounts, identifying acquisitions, and acting as primary liaison to the cutting tool industry.
