Veraxx Engineering Corp., Chantilly, Va., designated as a small business by Pentagon standards, has been awarded an $85,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract that will comprise concurrency efforts to the fielded Special Operations Aviation suite of training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations.
Funding and performance location for the U.S. Army contract will be determined with each order. The contract was solicited on the web with six bids received. The U.S. Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting agency.
