United Technologies Corp.’s Aerospace Systems Division is laying off more people across the United States, bringing the total worldwide number to 500.
The company is laying off five people in an Ohio facility, four people in North Carolina, and 70 people in Windsor Locks, CT, according to the Dayton Daily News.
A spokesman says the cuts affect less than 2% of UTC Aerospace Systems’ 40,000 workers, according to the Dayton, OH, newspaper.
