Solar Atmospheres
Solar Atmospheres’ Michigan and Western (Hermitage) Pennsylvania facilities have recently been awarded Nadcap Merit status for vacuum heat treating and brazing. PRI has once again recognized Solar’s adherence to strict specification requirements, flawless process execution, and a daily commitment to quality vacuum thermal processing. All five Solar Atmospheres facilities: Souderton and Hermitage, Pennsylvania; Fontana, California; Greenville, South Carolina; and Warren, Michigan have earned Nadcap 24-month merit status for commitment to quality.
Bob Hill, president of both facilities states, “The credit for these latest achievements goes to our quality teams, headed by Steve Choma in Michigan and Justin Hoffman in Western Pennsylvania, and all of our dedicated employees. We understand that a two-year Nadcap Merit accreditation is an honor and will never lead to complacency. That is because our robust corporate quality management system will never allow that to happen. Congratulations to all Solar Atmospheres’ facilities across the nation.”
Nadcap is administered by the not-for-profit Performance Review Institute (PRI), a global provider of customer-focused solutions designed to improve process and product quality by adding value, reducing total cost, and promoting collaboration among stakeholders in industries where safety and quality are shared goals.
