Rockaway, New Jersey – Titanium Industries Inc. (T.I.) has appointed Greg Himstead to be vice president, sales and marketing. With 26 years’ experience as a global high performance specialty metals sales and marketing professional and senior manager, Greg will lead T.I.’s continued growth across aerospace, oil & gas, industrial, and medical market segments and reinforce T.I.’s position as a global multi-metals, materials management company.
Himstead has worked on both sides of the mill and distribution fence in GM, director, and VP roles in sales, marketing, trading, and executive management. His work experiences in a range of high-tech industries such as aerospace, power generation, electronics and telecommunications, consumer products, and transportation have provided the opportunity to travel intensively across North America and around the world spending significant time in China, Korea, Japan, Australia, the Philippines, Brazil, and India as well as a 3-year European based assignment managing sales, marketing and trading teams in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the U.K.
In addition, T.I. has appointed Gail Hite to aerospace market director. Hite enters this global T.I. role with a wealth of experience and a successful track record with high performance metals in the aerospace, oil & gas, automotive, and medical industries. She will focus on securing materials management long term agreements (LTAs), supporting the T.I. branches in the field with her aerospace expertise, enhancing the marketing of T.I.’s performance metal solutions, and positioning inventory in the right locations for its global aerospace customer base.
Hite joined T.I. in May 2014 as aerospace business development manager, supporting many multi-metals LTA opportunities. Previously, she worked three years for RTI International Metals as a global business development director supporting accounts such as Embraer, Boeing, and SAFRAN–Snecma. Prior to RTI Hite ran her own aerospace MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) business as an FAA-certified government prime contractor.
