Troy, Michigan – Tebis America, a software company specializing in CAD/CAM systems for design and manufacturing – servicing the tool, die, mold, aerospace, and automotive manufacturing industries, is opening a new office in the Southeast U.S. The new office will support efforts in Tennessee, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Florida, and Alabama. It will be located in Greenville, South Carolina, and will be staffed by Charles Logan Gilstrap, business development manager and Jeffrey Sullivan, product and application specialist.
The opening of the Southeast U.S. office comes on the heels of Tebis America moving to a larger corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan, and the opening of its Orange County, California office to service the west coast.
According to David Klotz, CEO and president of Tebis America, “Our opening of a Southeast U.S. office is just the next step in our continued growth plan. The area is rich in manufacturing and will provide customers and prospects in the area with hands-on sales and service in a timely fashion. Many of our current customers have opened operations in the Southeast and this will allow us to be more hands on. It’s an exciting time for Tebis America.”
Gilstrap, responsible for new business development, comes to Tebis from Numerical Control Software Solutions, Covington, Washington, where he served as Southeast sales and marketing manager. Before that he was the Southeast territory manager for Cam Logic Inc., Oxford, Michigan.
Sullivan will be responsible for applications support and comes to Tebis from Gestamp South Carolina LLC, Union, South Carolina, where he oversaw the everyday operation of its CNC department including scheduling, programming, Tebis CAD/CAM, and engineering.
