Tamarack Aerospace Group has hired David Wirt to fill the company's new position, director of finance. The company, which has seen rapid growth since introducing its new, patented Active Winglet Technology, has chosen an executive with the finance and aerospace qualifications needed to provide the oversight, preparation, and implementation of its operating plans and the achievement of its financial goals.
Wirt has dealt with a wide range of financial activities, most recently with Symetra Investment Services where he served as finance and accounting manager for a national independent securities broker dealer. Prior to his tenure at Symetra, he performed corporate financial and strategic planning for Robert Half Management Resources, Aviation Partners Boeing and Chase (formerly Wamu) Investments. A graduate of Washington State University, Wirt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration.
“I welcome David Wirt to our company. David’s skills and dynamic perspectives on finance will provide essential resources for moving Tamarack Aerospace forward,” says John Reimers, CEO of Tamarack. “This company has a very aggressive agenda for expanding its role in the winglet market, and David’s talents will be integral to our success.”
