STG Aerospace opens new US facility in Miami

New building has double the space of the company’s previous US premises.

Miami – STG Aerospace, a provider of aircraft lighting technologies, has opened a new U.S. manufacturing and warehousing facility in Miami, Florida. Located adjacent to the Miami International Airport runway, the new building has double the space of the company’s previous U.S. premises.

This significant investment in expansion reflects growing demand throughout the Americas for STG Aerospace products and has been specifically designed to serve quickly and more efficiently. The new facility will also ensure that STG Aerospace can manufacture its latest product innovations within the U.S. as well as the U.K.

STG also recently launched a wholly foreign owned subsidiary (WFOE) in China. With this expanded presence in the USA and China STG is able to market all of its approved product range on a local basis: saf-Tglo photoluminescent emergency floor path system; saf-Tsign photoluminescent emergency and informational signage; and liTeMood, a plug-and-play, programmable, LED cabin lighting system designed specifically to retrofit commercial aircraft cabins.

Nigel Duncan, STG Aerospace’s chief executive, commented, “The Americas are, of course, a key market and it’s particularly gratifying for us that our investment in a new facility was driven by customer demand. Meeting the needs of customers is at the heart of all we do. Increasing the size of our manufacturing and warehousing operations in the U.S. will enable us to better serve both existing and new customers throughout the region.”

STG Aerospace has had a U.S. base in Miami for nearly 20 years.
