Solar Atmospheres of Western Pennsylvania has been awarded Pratt & Whitney, PWA 11, “Heat Treatments” approval. This significant milestone positions the Western PA facility as a top choice for customers requiring thermal processing that meets Pratt & Whitney's rigorous standards. The facility is now certified to perform heat treatments for P&W’s Suffix 17, “Precipitation Harden,” and Suffix 22, “Austenitize, Quench, and Temper.”
