Munroe Falls, Ohio – Solid carbide cutting tool manufacturer SGS Tool Co. has opened its new 76,000ft2 state-of-the-art end mill facility in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The new plant was constructed next to the company’s existing manufacturing facilities and will allow for increased capacity to keep up with greater market demand.
The new facility includes a two-story office building as well as a completely climate controlled manufacturing facility where the company produces more than 8,000 end mills a day using the latest CNC machining technology. This climate control enables precision machining thereby creating greater consistency in production which translates into higher value for SGS end users around the world.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on May 19, 2015. Representatives from the architectural design and construction teams, municipal authorities, business group leaders, and SGS Tool Co. leadership were in attendance. Photos can be seen on SGS Tool Company’s social media channels.
