Sanmina's Salt Lake City facility awarded AS9100C certification

Certification is for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), subassemblies, and systems.


San Jose, California – Sanmina Corp., a manufacturer of complex electronic, optical, and mechanical products, has had its Salt Lake City, Utah, facility awarded the AS9100C certification for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), subassemblies, and systems. This certification is an internationally recognized standard focused on quality requirements necessary in the defense and aerospace industry. Compliance with this certification, which includes increased parts traceability, risk identification and mitigation, ensures that mission critical equipment used by the military and government meets the highest quality standards.

The AS9100C certification complements Sanmina Salt Lake City's existing International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) security registration.
