Sandvik Coromant has announced that it will be holding Technologic, a ‘Smart’ Open House on October 7, 2009. Featuring an array of sessions taking place from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the event will be held at the Sandvik Coromant Productivity Center in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The morning session of Technologic will feature a presentation of Sandvik Coromant’s Modern Art of Milling, which focuses on boosting productivity and minimizing costs through advanced milling techniques. Afternoon sessions will offer valuable insight into getting maximum performance from CNC machines, new tooling technologies for rotating and turning and taking advantage of new machine tax benefits.
In addition to scheduled seminars, Sandvik Coromant’s Smart Hub will be open all day, manned by a team of tooling specialists. Attendees facing specific manufacturing challenges can meet with these experts to determine the best solutions for their individual applications.
“As we begin to see the economy rebound, American manufacturers need partners that will step up and help them prepare for success,” says John Israelsson, president of Sandvik Coromant. “Through events like Technologic, we plan to provide the resources our customers need to get the best possible performance from their manufacturing equipment and processes.”
