Mundelein, Illinois – Rollomatic Inc., a subsidiary of Rollomatic Holding Switzerland, has appointed William (Mac) McKenna as regional sales manager for several key manufacturing areas in North America.
Rollomatic, based in Le Landeron, Switzerland, builds CNC tool/cutter, peel grinding, and laser cutting machines. Rollomatic Inc., with headquarters in Mundelein, Illinois, has a machine demonstration and customer support facility, with sister company, Strausak Inc., located in the same building.
McKenna has been with Rollomatic for more than 15 years. His responsibilities will cover managing customer accounts, negotiating contracts, and acquisition of new accounts. He will also provide technical customer support and applications assistance. His territory includes New England, New York, the northern part of New Jersey, Quebec, and the eastern tip of Ontario.
After a career as a successful and skilled CNC applications engineer, McKenna was promoted to leader of the applications and service team in 2006. Rollomatic selected McKenna for his new role based on his extensive experience in the cutting tool field and with CNC grinding machines. His support-oriented customer approach and his strategic mindset will benefit the customer base, and such qualities are key to expanding the brand name and driving the company’s new technologies.
