RPA Development Kit: User Interface, RPA Optics, and Motor Driver.
Topsfield, Massachusetts – A Risley prism beam-steering development kit is being offered to experimenters and system designers interested in assessing the utility of this beam-steering technology with near off-the-shelf delivery times.
The development kit includes a 20mm clear aperture Risley prism assembly (RPA), control electronics, and operating software. Performance parameters of the development kit are representative of the characteristics of the higher-performance RPA products available from OPTRA.
RPA beam-steering pointers and scanners feature an inline configuration, compact size, low power, and wide field steering angles for free-space optical communication, LIDAR/LADAR systems, laser machining, and passive imaging from small platforms.
