Renishaw breaks ground for new office, testing facility

 

West Dundee, Illinois – Renishaw Inc. officials recently broke ground on its new 133,000ft² office and warehouse facility in West Dundee, Illinois, about 40 miles from Chicago. The two-story facility will be located at the Oakview Business Park and will be the company’s North American headquarters. The new building, slated for completion in June 2016, will also include space for product development, testing, warehousing, and distribution.

 

The facility will consolidate the company’s two existing sites, with a 47,000ft² area dedicated to warehousing/distribution, while the 86,000ft² office portion provides additional space for corporate services staff, demonstration, training, and conference facilities. The additional space includes flexible training and demonstration areas, with an open two-story exhibit hall for customer tours and product demos. The facility can also accommodate future expansion as Renishaw continues to grow.

 

Renishaw has 15 offices in the UK and an additional 56 offices in 32 countries, including 12 offices in China.
