Pyka, a manufacturer of commercial large autonomous electric aircraft, has finalized an order for 60 Pelican aircraft from Synerjet, an aircraft dealer and aviation services provider in Latin America. The deal marks a major milestone in Pyka's international expansion and establishes Synerjet as the company's first authorized distributor in Brazil. Deliveries to Synerjet will begin in August 2025.

The deal was formalized during a signing ceremony at Pyka's headquarters in Alameda, California. Executives from both companies gathered to commemorate the partnership, tour Pyka's production facilities, and align on plans to scale operations in Brazil. The event underscored a shared focus on expanding access to advanced, sustainable aviation technology across one of the world's largest agricultural markets.

"Brazil is a global powerhouse in agricultural production and we're proud to support its growers with technology that's been proven in the field," said Michael Norcia, CEO of Pyka. "With deep local knowledge and a strong commercial track record, Synerjet is a great partner for this next phase of our growth."

Pelican 2, Pyka's second-generation crop protection aircraft, is the world's largest autonomous fixed-wing agricultural aircraft. It's purpose-built for high-precision aerial application with no onboard pilot at risk and is capable of spraying crops both day and night. The aircraft is already in commercial operation, spraying thousands of hectares per year with customers in Brazil, Central America, and the United States.

"Pyka's aircraft is a leap forward for aerial application," said Fabio Rebello, CEO of Synerjet. "It's efficient, easy to use, and cost-effective for growers. We're excited to bring this level of innovation to Brazilian agriculture."

Under the partnership, Synerjet will provide sales, training, and technical support for growers adopting the Pelican platform in Brazil.

Pyka is aiming to define the future of safe, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective aviation with autonomous electric airplanes for crop protection and cargo delivery. Pyka's proprietary technology includes autonomous flight control software, flight computers, high energy density batteries, advanced electric propulsion systems, and carbon composite airframes.
