Atlanta – Precision Aviation Services (PAS), a Precision Aviation Group Company (PAG), located on the Atlanta Regional Airport Falcon Field (KFFC) South of Atlanta, announced the company was awarded the Airbus Diamond Award for its performance in 2014. The award is given to companies that meet a high level of customer service and specific performance criteria.
"To receive the Airbus Diamond Award in such a short amount of time after becoming an Airbus Service Center speaks volumes about the commitment of our team and the quality of service they provide," said David Ford, president of PAS. "Although we are proud to have obtained the award this year, it is only indicative of the core beliefs our company stands behind. We are honored to be recognized, but more importantly we are honored that our customers are flying around the world knowing they received the best service possible in the industry."
The Diamond Award is the highest level of award given by Airbus and given out annually for a composite score of 90 to 100. Scoring includes facility appearance, organization, technical review, AOG orders, and planned orders. The award also takes into consideration customer surveys, comprehensive capabilities, inventory practices, and service center meeting participation. Emerald and Ruby levels are also awarded for scores from 80 to 89 and 70 to 79 respectively.
PAG subsidiaries have MRO capabilities on over 35,000 products, including accessories, avionics, engine components, hydraulics, instruments, NDT, starter/generators, and wheels/brakes.
