Troutman, North Carolina – C.R. Onsrud (CRO) has added Pinnacle Machine Tools (PMT) to its family of dealers/distributors, as it reaches out to additional markets to continue its growth.
Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, PMT brings CRO the advantage of pairing the American-made Green and Silver brand with others they represent, most notably, Mazak. CRO Regional Sales Manager Ken Stissel came to Onsrud after previously representing Mazak, and has been instrumental in the nurturing of this relationship. He believes the relationship with Pinnacle is beneficial to both brands, saying “Our line of machinery compliments the Mazak product line very well – and will offer Pinnacle customers additional selections, and a diversity of capabilities when purchasing new machinery.” Pinnacle now has a product line spanning from CNC routers through heavy machining mills.
The addition of Pinnacle brings a strong sales entity within the metal/composite industry, and validates the hard work Onsrud has been doing with re-engineering its machinery throughout the recession, and heading into the economic upturn. Diversification, and preparing to provide products for composites, aluminum, and other emerging markets was a necessity for the company, and has been priority one.
“The ability to have Pinnacle on board, opens up incredible opportunities, for our machinery to be introduced to companies and industries we are specifically targeting as growth areas,” states Marketing Director Matt Jenkins. “Aerospace is a key area we are focusing on. This is a big step in growing our brand recognition and market share.”
Pinnacle owners, Jerry Edwards and Dennis McCurry are also excited about the burgeoning relationship with C.R. Onsrud.
