Parlec Inc., a worldwide leader in tooling and presetting solutions, has added two key members to its staff: Mike Bernitt, named quality manager, and Doug Caswell, named director of engineering.
As quality manager, Bernitt is responsible for leading, directing, and managing the organization in meeting its Quality System objectives. He is also tasked with performing quality system internal audits and supervising the activities of personnel assigned to verification of product specifications and, calibrating and gaging systems. Bernitt brings 20 years of engineering and quality experience to Parlec as well as over 10 years of direct quality management from a number of different industries.
Doug Caswell, who has been brought on as the company’s director of engineering, directs and guides all activities relating to Parlec Inc. mechanical, programming, design, process design, and R&D program efforts. Additionally, he is responsible for guiding the company’s engineering change request process, project planning, resource allocation and champion continuous improvement. Caswell brings more than 20 years of engineering and technical experience to Parlec and has served in a number of top level executive roles in engineering, quality, and operations.
