Charlotte, N.C. – CNC machine tool manufacturer, Okuma America Corp., Midwestern and Mountain states machine tool solutions distributor, Hartwig Inc., and Davis Applied Technology College (DATC), partner to host a CNC technology and tooling event May 7 and May 8, 2014 from 9am - 5pm, at DATC, Kaysville, Utah.
This two-day event will feature on-site cutting demonstrations and several seminars. New tooling techniques that increase productivity will be illustrated on a variety of Okuma machines including GENOS horizontal lathes and machining centers, Tsugami Swiss turn centers, Bridgeport vertical machining centers, Hexagon Metrology inspection equipment, and ROMER Portable Arms. Additionally, the Okuma THINC-OSP control will be available for hands-on demonstration and trials. The seminar schedule for the two day event is as follows:
