Oklahoma City – The Oklahoma Legislature passed a tax credit extension April 4, 2014, to help the state's aerospace industry.
The Aerospace Engineer Workforce Tax Credit program gives aerospace companies up to a $12,500 annual tax credit for each engineer hired and employed for up to five years.
The program, set to end this year, is now extended through 2017. Engineers also can get up to a $5,000 tax credit for five years on their own state income taxes.
