Chardon, Ohio – Officials from e2b calibration, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration and repair laboratory in Northeast Ohio, announced the company’s fifth consecutive year of revenue growth, the addition of several significant customers in the aviation industry, and other important growth indicators during 2013.
e2b calibration has been experiencing significant growth over the last few years and continued the trend in 2013 as the company recorded a 30% growth in revenue from the previous year. This marks the company’s fifth straight year of double-digit revenue growth. The company has also experienced significant growth in its customer base, especially in the avionics industry where it has brought on several significant new customers.
To accommodate its growing client base, the lab increased staff size by 28%, acquired new test equipment, new tools, renovated the facility to expand the shipping and receiving area, and completed the addition of a new flow meter calibration facility. Another noteworthy development in the lab was the implementation of several new internal software systems to automate and streamline calibration processes, further increasing throughput and speeding up turnaround times for customers. A cloud-based document and asset management portal provide customers with instant access to certificates of calibration, asset information, and reports.
“2013 was a big year for us,” said Mark Hanson, General Manager of e2b calibration. “Growth can be tough for many companies, but with our renovations to the facility, new software systems, and the addition of new technicians, we are well equipped to provide our customers with the high quality services they have come to expect from e2b calibration as we move into the New Year.”
