Nextant Teams with Jet Aviation Geneva

Biz jet mfr., service center provide European maintenance base.

Makers of the world’s only re-manufactured business jet, Nextant Aerospace, based in Cleveland, Ohio, has teamed up with Jet Aviation to provide its authorized service center for Europe in Geneva.

Under the terms of the deal, Jet Aviation Geneva will provide maintenance services for Nextant’s growing fleet of aircraft across the continent.

The Nextant 400XTi boasts fuel-efficient, low-emission engines and an impressive range which makes it ideally suited to the European market where it has made a strong sales debut.

Demand for the low-cost aircraft is expected to grow even more as the 400XTi, a version of the Hawker Beechcraft 400A/XP re-engined with Williams FJ44-3AP dual FADEC high bypass turbofans in aerodynamically improved engine nacelles, is about half the price of its competitors and has significantly lower maintenance and operating bills.

Jet Aviation Geneva will have full access to Nextant’s global spares inventory and distribution infrastructure.

Jay Heublein, Nextant's EVP global sales and marketing, says: "Europe is a key market for us and we're determined to give our European customers the very best in after-sales service. Our new 400XTi is a class-leading aircraft and with Jet Aviation we can now offer its owners and operators an equally-exceptional standard of support."

Cyril Martiniere, managing director, Jet Aviation Geneva, says: "Nextant Aerospace offers a unique product and we are extremely glad to be selected as an authorized service center in Europe. We look forward to supporting Nextant's customers with our world-class maintenance services."

Jet Aviation business aviation services was founded in Switzerland in 1967 and has 22 facilities throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. The Geneva Service Centre, which opened in 1969, provides complete maintenance, repair and avionics support as well as FBO services. It also supplies unscheduled maintenance services including defect rectification, structural repairs, engine replacements and AOG services.

The companies signed a similar agreement in April adding Jet Aviation Singapore to Nextant's global network of owned and authorized service centers.
