Cleveland, Ohio – Nextant Aerospace, maker of the Nextant 400XTi remanufactured business jet, has appointed AVIC International Aero-Development Corp. as the exclusive sales representative for the Greater China region. As part of the agreement, AVIC ADE expects to take delivery of its first 400XTi by the end of the year. This partnership will allow AVIC ADE to closely align with sales, marketing and customer support efforts in the region.
AVIC (the Aviation Industry Corporation of China) is China’s largest aviation company with interests in manufacturing, charter operations, maintenance, and general aviation. AVIC ADE is a subsidiary of AVIC International, which serves as one of the main channels for the import and export of civil aviation products in China. Its general aviation team was established in 1997 and assists customers with aircraft sales, importation service, financing, logistics, training, warranty claims, and parts supply. AVIC ADE also provides assistance with tendering, bidding, negotiations, and documentation for government procurements. “AVIC ADE’s focus on aviation, its extensive customer network, and its market and policy insights give Nextant direct lines of communication with all of our target markets: corporations, entrepreneurs, and charter operators,” said Nextant President Sean McGeough. “In a climate of increased focus on efficiency and productivity, the Nextant value proposition is especially compelling. Coupled with relaxing regulatory constraints and expanding aviation infrastructure we see strong near- and mid-term potential for the region.”
“We are very pleased to partner with Nextant Aerospace for the Greater China region,” said Fu Yuming, vice president of AVIC ADE. “Senior business leaders in China are looking for cost-effective solutions for travel within China that isn’t reliant on commercial airline schedules. The 400XTi has the ability to fly direct anywhere in China and provide needed private space to conduct business during the flight. It is a high-quality product at a reasonable cost and that kind of value will be in high demand in the coming years.”
Nextant also expects to see strong demand for Special Missions applications including air ambulance, airport calibration, surveillance, search and rescue, high density, and cargo.
The Nextant 400XTi is a completely rebuilt Beechjet 400A/XP with Williams FJ44-3AP engines and the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics suite. It also has major aerodynamic enhancements and an improved engine mounting configuration with redesigned nacelles and pylons.
Founded in 2007, Nextant is a Directional Aviation Capital company based in Cleveland, Ohio.
