Officials from TriMas Corp., a diversified global manufacturer of engineered and applied products based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., announced Jan. 10, 2014, that the company's Monogram Aerospace Fasteners business recently qualified to manufacture the BACC30CT collar part family out of its new Tempe, Ariz. facility. This is a critical high volume fastener for the new carbon composite aircraft models, with growing production demands.
Monogram, headquartered in Los Angeles, Calif., is one of only a few manufacturers qualified to manufacture CT collars. Currently the facility is in full production and shipping these collars to multiple customers. Monogram is also in various stages of qualification on other critical fasteners to support the growing aircraft production demands.
"We're always looking to expand our product offering to meet our customers' needs and strengthen our relationships," said David Adler, president of Monogram Aerospace Fasteners. "The rigorous qualification process further demonstrates our dedication and commitment to being a leading manufacturer and supplier in the industry."
