Sudbury, Massachusetts – Methods Machine Tools Inc., a supplier of precision machine tools, automation, and accessories, will now directly represent Nakamura-Tome in Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Methods has been the exclusive U.S. importer of Nakamura-Tome machines for more than thirty years, providing customers with service and sales support locally through-out the nation.
“We now have an excellent, dedicated Methods' sales and support system in place for our Nakamura customers," said Richard Parenteau, Method's director of Application Development. “Customers will appreciate that our Methods' team is immediately available to provide incomparable, experienced applications support, service, and sales on Nakamura products." The expanded, direct Nakamura representation coincides with the recent openings of Methods' new California technology centers in San Francisco and Los Angeles, part of a continued west coast expansion strategy. "With closer access and a greater level of service and support, we are fully committed to our customer base," said Fernando R. Garcia, Methods' west coast general manager.
A full line-up of Nakamura machines can be seen in Methods' San Francisco Technology Center including the recently introduced AS-200 high performance multitasking turning center featuring a single spindle, single turret in a heavy-duty and compact machine.
Nakamura-Tome offers more than 20 twin-spindle machine configurations to reduce cycle times and eliminate extra operations.
