Methods Machine Tools Inc. has appointed James “Steve” Previti as YASDA product manager. Previti will create and execute the North American sales strategy for Methods’ new line of machines.
“The need for more efficient ways to machine exceptional, high quality parts is increasing as manufacturers in segments such as aerospace, die/mold, and automotive, are demanding tighter tolerances combined with shortened cycle times,” said Previti. “We expect this trend to continue over the next several decades and YASDA precision machine tools are well positioned to meet this challenge for OEM’s and job shops.”
Prior to his position as regional sales manager for Mitsui Seiki, Previti was a sales engineer at ABLE Machine Tools Inc. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park.
