During the past year Kitagawa-NorthTech has made great strides to improve customer delivery on essential accessories by increasing in-house manufacturing of adapter plates, draw tubes, t-nuts and other valuable products. This aggressive task involves equipping the Kitagawa-NorthTech manufacturing plant with the proper machines and personnel. To help in this effort, Kitagawa-NorthTech expanded the engineering group and welcomed in a new manufacturing engineer to the team. Peter Contos comes to Kitagawa-NorthTech with more than 35 years of manufacturing and engineering experience. Peter’s talents range across the spectrum, including: CNC programming of lathes and horizontal mills, conducting lean manufacturing studies, production planning and scheduling, create process drawings, training/educational forums and much more! “Our continued mission, to Redefine Productivity for our customers, energizes our organization to constantly evolve our business platform to fit every need”, states Colleen Juhl, Marketing Manager.
