GibbsCAM Resellers and Cimatron subsidiaries who sell, service and support GibbsCAM from all over the world turned out to participate in the event. They got an opportunity to see “first hand” the latest in product development and exciting new enhancements to the software geared towards increased customer productivity and wider scope of application capabilities.
Keynote speaker Chuck Birkle, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mazak Corporation, presented a fascinating overview of the company and Mazak’s vision for the future. Birkle emphasized the importance of the close level of cooperation between the two companies and Mazak’s joint efforts with Gibbs and Associates towards customer productivity and satisfaction, especially as the installations, capabilities and demands of multi-tasking machines increase. Matsuura Machinery Company, a long time GibbsCAM President’s Club member was represented by Tomoyuki Kawatsuu, who gave the attendees an insightful overview of the product capabilities most valued by end users in Japan. Mario Winterstein, Business Development Director from AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology, highlighted the importance of cooperation between CAM companies and machine builders as well as the benefits that AMT could provide to assist in building these future relationships worldwide.
Bill Gibbs, President and founder of Gibbs and Associates stated: “As we celebrate our 30th year in the CAD/CAM business, it’s a pleasure to spend a few days celebrating with the growing group of people who make our success possible”
Danny Haran, President and CEO of Cimatron Limited was quick to point out that “both Cimatron and Gibbs and Associates started 30 years ago and now we’ve evolved into one very successful company of people who share the same commitment to delivering the highest quality product and service to our growing customer base.
