A Lockheed Martin Corp. official on Oct. 16, 2013, announced that the company would let go of 600 workers in its Mission Systems and Training Division later next month.
According to a news report, Lockheed spokesman Keith Little said the layoffs reflected the increasingly challenging business environment.
The company is to provide details by Nov. 6 about which locations would be involved. Most of the affected workers would leave their jobs by late November.
