Cincinnati, Ohio – GT 326-E, the newest automatic magazine bar feeder for sliding headstock machines from LNS, loads 12ft long bar stock with diameters from 3mm to 20mm (26mm with bar prep). This bar feeder includes advanced technology usually found in much more costly machines:
- Patented, two-position, automatic, hydrostatic front stabilizer with V-shaped guiding elements that dampen residual vibration between the front of the bar feeder and the back of the spindle
- Patented high-speed headstock synchronization system directly connected to the servo drive to eliminate transmission delay for perfect synchronization between the pusher and headstock
- High capacity, 10.6” deep magazine tray for long, unattended, lights-out production
- One-minute setup with automatic adjustment of pushing torque, forward speed and feeding length by entering shape, diameter and feed out length into the user-friendly HMI
By analyzing and rethinking the entire manufacturing process, LNS built these and other proven technologies into the GT 326-E while driving down production costs to deliver value in a 12ft bar feeder.
